cpu : intel Q. Core Xeon X5365 x2 3.0GHz
RAM : 17GB DDR2
HDD: 4 TB & 240 SSD
boot camp 4.0.4
and I simply can't complete the installation of windows 7 on it. I am caught in a Windows Error Recovery screen loop, it just keeps restarting and go back to that screen. I have tried just about everything I can think of and have tried everything suggested in my search for a solution.

On the 4TB disk, because W& is installed using legacy BIOS and an MBR, you can use a partition larger than 2TB and it must start within the first 2TB of the disk. If you are using the SSD and it also has OSX on it, I suggest you disconnect all other external disk storage by removing it physically from the slots/bays in the MP.

You need to partition the 4TB disk into two parts, install Windows on the first 2TB (or smaller) part and install OS X later.
The MBR is created using GPT Fdisk to emulate a legacy BIOS disk layout on a more modern GPT disk. Macs do not have a BIOS User-Interface.

Are you using a physical DVD of Windows 7 to install Windows?
