Summarizing, to be sure:

- System Preferences > iCloud, you are logged in and can't sign out

- You can login at www.icloud.com

- You can't login to the App Store

When do you actually get the window "Enter your password to setup iCloud"?

Open the following applications and check if you're logged in with any Apple ID, if so, log out: iTunes, App Store, iMessage, FaceTime and Game Center

Then try first post from John Galt again.

Hello Cavemees,

All of the above is correct. This seems to effect many more people other than myself and Cre8iveSense. This prompt to login seems to happen 3 to 5 times a day. It seems sporadic. Is this logging out of everything on the computer something that has worked for someone? I am willing to do it if we know it will resolve the issue. However, I am concerned that I will not be able to use these applications and then really be in a pickle.

I am having the same problem. Spent a long time on the phone with Apple support and they basically said they are getting lots of instances of this. I can log into ipad, iphone, Macbook etc. but anything on my imac says action cannot be completed - try again. Support basically said they do not know what it is, they have left it with their engineers but will probably take a week to get some form of answer. Had to upload screenshots.

Feel palmed off to be honest.
