How Do I use Apple Pay on my iPad Air 2?

Just got my new iPad Air 2 and set it up to use ApplePay but I don't see any button to press. I went to Settings - Touch ID & Passcode. Apple Pay is on. I set a fingerprint but don't know what that's for.

I previously had iPad 4 which I'm giving to my Grandson. This new one has a cell chip so I don't have to tether to my Galaxy S4 Cell Phone.

So how do I use the Apple Pay?

I'm not sure, but I think you can only use apple pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Nope.It cane used on the iPads as well it says. On my new iPadAir 2 it asked me if I wanted to set it up so I did.

My iPad Air has a sim card.

You can't use Apple Pay on your iPad with credit card machines like you can with an iPhone and Apple Watch.

Apple Pay on iPads only work for app and in-app purchases from the App Store and iTunes Store and purchases made online from the Safari Web browser only.

With an iPad, it doesn't matter if it is a wifi+cellular or just wifi-only iPad. On iPads Apple Pay can only be used for in-app and online purchases. No iPad has the near field communication chip that an iPhone has so cannot be used at brick and mortar store checkouts (unless the have the option of an online pay system).

Okay Thanks. I guess I thought wrong. I assumed because I could get it on my iPad, could user it in a brick & Mortar store.
