MacBook Pro late 2016 three finger drag issue

Not sure if this is a general problem with MacBook Pro late 2016 or just my machine is having this problem. Try to enable three finger drag on it and do a 3 finger drag gesture on bottom left of the trackpad, there are 40% chance that it's wrongly detected as secondary click. Sometimes it failed to detect 3 finger drag at the middle of the trackpad as well.. this is really annoying as this is one of the most used gesture on a computer...

I have a MacBook Pro 2017 15" and the issue is not completely solved. I have macOS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29).

I do not know how the issue was before Sierra 10.12.4 but a not so small percentage of the total times I use the three finger drag gesture it does not activate immediately but only after a more decise and prolonged dragging. Like if the first (let's say) 20 pixel were not take into consideration and for moving for 2 pixel we have to make a gesture corresponding to 22 pixel.

It is extremely annoying!

SOLUTION (temporary):

Hi everyone--I have been having this problem. One way to ensure that you can drag is to hold your three fingers together when you drag (i.e. don't spread your fingers out). It has helped on machine.

I know that this has been frustrating to everyone. At least this solution will temporarily alleviate some of that frustration. At least this goes to confirming that this is a software and not a hardware issue.
