The problem is that sometimes a call to my phone properly rings to my iPad Air2. Everything works as intended. Yes, all my options are properly set to answer calls on my iPad. I make no changes to my options after the process properly works. Yet sometimes the call comes thru to my iPad and sometimes it doesn't.
Friday night the process worked. A call to my 7+ rang on my iPad, I answered it and we conversed. Saturday night, with the 7+ in the same room it was in Friday night, and the iPad in the same room it was in on Friday night, the incoming call (from same number) never rang on my iPad. I found the callers voice mail on my phone later on in the evening. Checking the iPad FaceTime shows no record. I made no changes to settings on either device between Friday and Saturday.
Is the problem with the Apple phone / iPad? My home WiFi network (I have an Airport Express in the back of the house, about 10' thru clear air, to where the iPad typically sits; 7+ is typically in the front of the house, a few feet from the Time Capsule WAP. In other words, the WiFI signals are strong)? Or is it a potential problem caused by Verizon?
BTW, the phone is set to WiFI calling, due to atrocious cell coverage in my neighborhood. And yes, both devices are patched to the latest iOS.
I have also tried working this via Apple chat, and after running thru their process (basically verifying all the knobs were properly set) there has been no change in the intermittent performance.
