Wifi keeps disconnecting

When my iPhone 7 Plus is on standby, screen is off, my wifi disconnects. When I unlock my phone it usually reconnects right away but not always. Sometimes I have to turn wifi off and back on for it to connect. My iPad stays connected as does my wife's iPhone 6. Recently, my wifi settings said that there was no internet connection and that I should check my router but my wife's iPhone 6 was connected. I turned wifi off and back on on my iPhone and it connected immediately. I'm concerned something is wrong with my phone.

Sadly, none of the advises help. My iPad, PCs etc are all working perfectly, but my iphone keeps disconn

Hey, Hrothgar987. Thanks for using Apple Support Communities for this issue. Your iPhone 7 Plus doesn't consistently rejoin your Wi-Fi network after the screen's been unlocked. I'll be glad to help.

I "reset all settings" and so far it has seemed to fix the wifi issue.

After about a week it has started to do it again. I can't "reset all settings" over and over and shouldn't have to any ideas?

Thanks for getting back to us with that information, Hrothgar987. If you followed everything included in "If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't connect to a Wi-Fi network, we do have more.
Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points -- Many times, one device will have no issues connecting/staying connected to a Wi-Fi network and another device does. Make sure your router's firmware is up-to-date. You can also reset your home network by turning off both the router and modem. Wait 5 minutes, then power up the modem first, then the router.
Potential sources of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interference -- Something as simple as a microwave oven can interfere with your Wi-Fi signal.

If your iPhone 7 Plus intermittently won't reconnect after unlocking, does this happen just at home or anywhere you connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi?
