Sierra screensharing not working

I run two MBP' both with 10.12.1 on it. Both are fresh installs.

I can not get screen-sharing to work if the firewall is on. If it is of no problem. I found these instructions, followed them and all worked. I turned both machines of and the next day it does not work again.

Any help appreciates.

Thanks.

in system library click on go > computer Macintosh HD > library > preferences folder - you find com.apple.sharingd.plist - it is correct

And in same system library > Launch agents > right click on com.apple.sharingd.plist and move to the trash .

Answer for second paragraph what is this com.apple.alf.plist.lock file is it there in system or it was in past , as lock files can be created if user is using Microsoft office or some times they are suspicious as malware .

For your third paragraph com.apple.alf.plist in system library > preferences the third one is stating as original so you can delete the first two or if you delete 3 of them , no worries

Lastly remove ( right click on plist and move to trash ) , all the plist that I answered for three paragraphs , restart the machine & empty the trash .

in system library > Launch agents is generally empty if you are not using any third party app .

User uploaded file

In user library > same Launch agents is empty .

The apple software is designed in such a way when screen is over , and you restart the machine it will go to default , its is good habit to ask as always WHY ? if you are real geek send your ford back to apple , but I think its just for security reason .

And to connect to headless server will you please explain is it on network server or what ? an article for it : macOS Sierra: Connect to shared computers and file servers on a network

First of. I have no LaunchAgent folder in the user folder. And one on the HD site that has a load of files in it. All starting with com.apple....

Are you saying to remove com.apple.sharingd.plist from both folders?

It might be for security reasons, or a bug or something or I do not do it right.

In your link (I found it before trying to solve this) I could find no reference to it resetting at reboot. I googled it as it came to mind as a possibility since Apple is dumbing down the software, and could find no refernce nowhere. Have you? Or are we assuming here? If so there must be (I hope) a Terminal command to counter this. As it completely, in my mind, counters the idea of behind it all. And File-sharing holds after restart, so that in my mind is a much larger risk, and therefore seems not logic to me to have one reset and the other not.

It is asking permission , a pop - up appears to enter your admin name & password , if yes please enter it , & also what about read and write permissions in home folder. > public , drop box , on the top of your hut icon there is a shared folder , have you changed them ? after that try to delete plist files .
