Hi
With Touch ID enabled, to pay using Apple Pay with your iPhone, you can:
Present your iPhone to the contactless reader with your finger resting on the Touch ID sensor / Home button.
- Your default card will be used automatically.
When you want to use a different card than your default card:
- Present your iPhone to the reader without resting your finger on Touch ID.
- When your default card is shown: tap on it > tap on the card that you want to use > rest your finger on Touch ID sensor / Home button to pay.
Prepare your iPhone in advance (including when you wish to use a different card for any given transaction):
- Double-click the Home button from the Lock screen (or open Wallet if you do not have that shortcut method enabled) > select your preferred card > place your finger on the Touch ID sensor until you see "Hold Near Reader to Pay"
- To enable the double-click shortcut, turn on the setting in Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
- You then have 60 seconds to pay using that card by holding the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader.
- During this time, you do not need to keep your finger on the Touch ID sensor or to place it there again.
