Apple Watch Series 2 Keeps Restarting?

I picked up my first ever Apple Watch Series 2 in the middle of September 2016. Since then it keeps restarting every 2-3 weeks!

It is on the current up to date OS.

This happens on any App, you would be using or checking something out on an App, third party & built in, & then all of a sudden it just goes blank as in a black screen & the Apple logo appears for a minute plus then back to the watch face.

I have done a force reboot by holding down both buttons, i have unpaired it from my iPhone 6 & paired it to my new iPhone 7, & still the same thing happened again today 29th November 2016.

I am not sure what to do next, should i book it in at the Apple store?

Hi

The following steps may help:

If you have not yet done so, update your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest software, starting with your iPhone:

Close all apps on your iPhone, then restart both your iPhone and your watch (normally):

Unpair and re-pair your watch again:

If the issue then persists, I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider with a view to having your watch checked and, if recommended, serviced under warranty:
