strikethrough no longer available in Notes

Any ideas on how to strikethrough text in Notes? There used to be a drop down menu in the Font panel, but it seems to have disappeared. Even the Apple support page talks about the drop down strikethrough menu, yet I don't see it.

Thanks,

Boris

yes, really bothering. By the way, if you use 'google notes' within Notes you can strikethrough etc.! (but there is no checklist option, for example).

Again a never thoroughly tested software full of bugs (which will never be fixed by Apple like, e.g., in Preview, which still –since years– opens files in the same window although you've chosen "open all files in a new window" and if you close "normally" with cmd-w it closes all the files in the window etc.pp.)
