Unable to login to iCloud on iPhone 6s

I have an iPhone 6s version 10.1.1. A few weeks ago my phone shut off on its own and turned back on. When it came back on, I noticed my contacts were missing. Then I noticed my work email (exchange sync account) was missing. I went into settings and selected iCloud and signed in and it shows at the top it's verifying, but it stays on the sign in screen.

I can't find anything online to help with this. Please help! I need my calendar back and my email and the ability to set reminders.

I have the same issue, have you a solution? Accounts login issue / crash mail app - iOS 10.2

Try a forced reset. Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons (iPhone 7/7+:VOLUME DOWN and SLEEP) until an Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds. And make sure you have an Internet connection when you sign in.

It's hard to diagnose based on what you've described. Do you have backups, either in iTunes or iCloud? Is the phone usable at all? If you've got a backup connect to iTunes (v 12.5.1 or later) and restore iOS. It sounds like something is corrupted.

Did you solve it?

I'm still trying to login but it keep showing "verifying" and the goes back as I didn't clic on "sign in"
