Pdf files won't sync from iBook on my MAC to iTunes. It used to work fine. Prior to this problem, I would place a pdf file in iBooks on my MAC and then it would be available in iTunes to sync to my devices. Now, the pdf files located in iBooks will not show-up in iTunes. All software is current.

You are, of course, correct.
Just to make sure, open iBook. On the left, you'll see "All," "Books," and "PDFs." Tap on "PDFs," and tell me what you see.

thank you for the reply. I opened iBooks on my MAC. I did as you directed and there is a listing of the pdf's that I have placed in iBooks. Although they are there, these pdf's will not show-up in iTunes.
To summarize, PDFs appear on iBooks on your Mac - but the PDFs don't seem to appear in iTunes.
Frequently, the inability to sync PDFs can be fixed by doing a FULL sync.
Open iTunes, and sync via USB, as usual. When the sync is finished, select Books under Settings, as shown here:
You'll see a complete list of the books on iTunes. Choose "Sync Books," and "All Books." Sync again.
Now, all of your books should appear in iTunes.
Thank you again. Your summarization is correct. There is only one pdf showing in iTunes but many in iBooks. I tried what you suggested and iTunes synced what was showing but not the pdf's in iBooks.
Note: the books in iBooks show in iTunes. Only one PDF in iBooks shows in iTunes, even though there are 13 others that do not show in iTunes.

I've done some testing, and have found that some PDFs (and even a few ePub files) don't survive the sync process.
In the interest of getting your problem solved, I suggest using a free solution like DropBox. (Sometimes, larger or non-commercial PDFs don't work with iBooks, but DropBox works every time.)
Thank you again for the help. You said "have found that some PDFs...don't survive the sync process" This may be true but the PDF's that I am trying to sync used to sync just fine. Coincidently, (maybe) I am also having problems with the iPhone Music App closing-out when I choose a Smart Playlist. Both of these problems started after I upgraded to IOS 10. I am now on 10.2 with no cure. It may be an issue with iOS 10.
I was out of the country for 10 days after your last reply. that is the reason for the delay in my response.
