Youtube dropped frames at 60fps

Hi,

Please could someone help me???

When watching youtube at 60fps I get lots of dropped frames, this is confirmed by the "stats for nerds" info option.

When I run bootcamp and Windows 10 it works perfectly with not even 1 dropped frame.

I have a Macbook pro 13 early 2015 2.7ghz

Thanks

James

Heya, been having this issue since I installed Sierra. I made a post a while back on reddit and confirmed that a few others could replicate the issue, but it didn't grab much attention. I also made a bug report to apple about it with no response.

So while I don't have a fix other than using Chrome (battery killer), just know it's not your hardware, just buggy ol Sierra

I don't get frame drops with in Safari 10 with El Cap, so it must be Sierra.

I suspect there's a gfx issue of some kind, perhaps driver side, seeing as watching videos in Sierra halves your estimated battery life compared to the same system running El Cap.
