Hello, I tried to connect my EIZO S2243W to a macbook 12inch with a D-Sub to HDMI port of the adaptor, but it doensn't work. Can somebody help me out? Thanks!

sure! the D-sub connector is for analog and this monitor has DisplayPort, DVI and D-sub, and I don't think you can do reverse, but not too sure. Try using a DisplayPort cable, You might also have to go into the monitor's menu and tell it what kind of input you're giving it, analog or digital. We also don't know what model of macbook you have, other than the fact it's a 12 inch one, which could be many models of MacBook, please go to the Apple icon at the top left of your screen, and then choose "About this Mac" or "system report" to find out more info about it, which you can then tell us. You can also look up your model number on everymac.com and find out what video output it has
