typing direction in whatsapp

When editing a message on whatsapp, in the past along with "select, select all, copy", etc. also appeared 2 arrows so I can change direction of writing and insert or delete letters in correct position. These arrows do not appear anymore. Sometimes I send messages in English and sometimes in Hebrew, left to right. The cursor does not automatically go to correct position according to keyboard I choose and also there is no more option of the arrows when I want to edit.

Is there a solution or is it a bug with the updated iOS?
