I installed IOS 10.2 on 12/12/16. Phone was 100% charged at 7:00 pm; at 4:00 am on 12/13/16 the battery was completely discharged.
What changed in IOS 10.2 to affect battery usage like this?

This is very normal with iOS 10 and the iPhone 6s. Apple is working on a fix. In iOS 10.2 they added a feature where they can monitor your device's battery life so they can see what is causing it.
I am having this issue in 6s with ios 10.2.1. The battery drains very quickly even uf idle. Have stopped location, push email services too.
I having the same issue .... to solve this problem ,can i update my ios to 10.2.3 ???
Same for me. iOS 10.3 didn't solve my problem. I am still in touch with tech support and two months hear still the same. They should fix it or replace our phones!!!
The same issue with iPhone 6 and Update 10.2.1, the battery lifetime is shrinked to less zehn a halfe day and was about 3-4 days before the update !!

After upgrade to 10.3 the battery lifetime is back to 3-4 day's with normal usage.

I've had replaced my iphone 6s because it was draining by 3 or 4% per minute, but guess what... Even on the new phone my battery drains from 70% to 58% in 5 minutes.
I am really frustrated with this battery drain. 50% drained in 3 hours. No background apps o mobile data working continuously. This a shame. Please fix the battery issue
I think this is a policy from Apple to force customers to update to Iphone 7 .
I do have the same thing with my I phone 6 after I upgrade to 10.3 I hate Apple policy long time ago thankfully this is not my major phone I just use it for my work line.

Basically you just have to go to apple and get a battery test, you may have an old battery and need a replacement.
Not really a solution. Taking away features that I had before is not realy the answer. Apple needs to fix this please.
