Logic Pro X Automation - Volume Automatically goes up and down
I am somewhat of a beginner in Logic Pro. I am working on a song I am creating. I did a test run and everything worked fine. But when I went back and lengthened the song, added more drums and midi keyboard strings everything went nuts. (I used EZ Drummer 2 and EZ Keys). The string part is Apple's String Ensemble played through an M-Audio Code 49.
It all happened when I added a fade at the end of each track. Now the automation for all tracks automatically switches to Read and I can no longer control the volume. They jump up and down and the mute parts and then play other parts loud. I have changed all back to write and they keep going back to read. And now my tracks have dozens of automation points all over the map. I want to turn off and get rid of all automation but don't know how.
