Install macOS Sierra Window Too Big for Display

I've been trying to install Sierra for a while, but every time I get to this point in the installation, the window becomes so big that I can't reach the "install" button on the bottom of the window:

User uploaded file

I've tried clicking on the disk drive and "1", but nothing on the screen seems to respond to clicking. The "zoom" function under "Window" doesn't work, the green button for zooming is greyed out, the command-minus shortcut doesn't work...I restarted the app countless times, deleted and re-downloaded it, tried safe-booting, but nothing I've tried seems to work, and it's incredibly frustrating to have something so small hold me back from installing this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Have you tried the following:

1. Delete Sierra (make sure it is showing "Download" next to it in the Purchased tab of the Mac App Store

2. Boot your Mac into Safe Mode by holding down the shift key while turning on

3. Go back to the App Store and click on Download to re-download it and see if that fixes the issue

OR

1. Set up a new User Admin account sign into the App Store with your Apple ID

2. Delete Sierra (as above)

3. Go back to the App Store and click on Download to re-download and see if that fixes the issue

Cheers,
