Hello there. I was using this driver in El Capitan, and it was working perfect for my Cintiq 13HD. But after upgrading to Sierra 10.12.2 it started to mess up my line art on Photoshop 😟 Anyways, I have tried several driver versions, and all of them got some kind of issue for this version of MacOS. Just wanted to say, in case anyone wants to give it a try. Hopefully they fix this soon, is really a pain in the butt. Right now working with driver 6.3.18-4 good line art, but without express keys, it is the best of the worst for me.

FOr me right now i have next working configuration.

Wacom driver: 6.3.15-3

OS: Sierra 10.12.2

- Intuos 5M Touch working well, as actually with last drivers too

- Cintiq 13HD works well as it has to with express keys and etc.

Since a lot of work to do, i'm not going to try new drivers yet. Will see if anyone who can try without affect on work will share results:)

Downgrading MacOS will work however, it is best that that computer has very little connection to the internet as it makes your computer very venerable to attacks (yes... MacOS).

Once security fixes are made, it is common practice for the bad guys on the internet to exploit those fixes that Apple has made, hoping to open up computers that have not been updated yet. Its a freebie for the bad guys as the Apple needs to disclose to users and software vendors what venerability existed and how it is being fixed. The bad guys just take that venerability and then attempt to attack un-patched computers.

That is why OS vendors push the updates so aggressively and why users need to be very careful on the internet with old versions of an OS with documented and public security flaws.

Just a public service announcement! 🙂

Hi there, I seem to have found a solution to this exact problem.

I am running 10.12.2 OS (Sierra) as of today.

I have an Intuos CTL-480 Wacom tablet.

I could not get the device to read, nor the pen to work with the latest driver from the Wacom site (6.3.20-8).

I uninstalled through the Wacom utility and then installed 6.3.20-4 which I found though a google search (I downloaded here, hopefully it doesn't put trash on our machines... https://photo2drive.com/apps/wacom-tablet-driver?platform=hootsuite

After installing and restarting my Mac, the pen still did not work but the device mounted as indicated in the Wacom Desktop Center (a feature that is in the applications in the newly installed Wacom folder). In the Wacom Desktop Center and went into the pen settings (first top left) to configure and instantly the pen came to life! And it is still working so...

Full disclosure: I embarrassingly just updated from 10.4.7 ... or whatever my original 2011 MacBookPro OS was (if it ain't broke don't fix it). My Wacom Tablet and Time Machine stopped working out of nowhere and so had to finally update.

In other words, no Mac expert here and not planning on continuing on this thread, but hope this helps others not to spend many hours on this as I did!

I was having the same issues on my Cintiq 24HD after upgrading to Sierra 10.12.2-- the stylus would freeze when clicking either an expresskey or the pen button that had been programmed with a modifier. As previously suggested, I disabled those keys and used the keyboard instead. (A pain, but at least a workaround.)

Today I installed the newest driver 6.3.20-8 and behold! It works!!

Today (05/25/17) I updated Mac OS Sierra and new Wacom Driver 6.3.22-3 and STILL have a problem with the Modifier keys in Photoshop... Mostly trying to use the "Intersect function" which requires 2 or 3 Modifier keys to work properly (signified by an "X" under the tool).

I'm going to back to the older driver that has a 15 in the name... this is really terrible

I'm having the same problems using wacom intuos pro over macos sierra. The clicking (without dragging and dropping things) is almost imposible, almost everytime you click something, you are likely accidentally dragging it... I even recorded a video about this comparing touchpad in macos with wacom in windows 10 and wacom in macos sierra.
