Airpods flaky bluetooth? where they rushed out?

The amount of dropouts though is way higher than wireless headphones I've used. I can stand the occasional dropout and I completely understand what you are saying but this is different. I do have to admit though that since making that post my dropouts have gotten better. Still not gone but happening less.

Have you used them outdoors in 4 degrees?

Was that on Mt. Everest or in an airplane?

Apple asked me to power off my Watch (Series 2) and in an hour of testing no drops - reported back, still testing, and awaiting further feedback.

My joy was short-lived as well. A few hours of use today and stuttering returned.

No, not a very good solution. Do you find that it happens when sending/receiving SMS though (another type of cellular data) when cellular data is off? Or just random times?

Randomly - it can occur during times of overt activity or when I'm just listening to music. Of course, there may be lots of background activity occurring so who knows...

Another update: the issue goes away if I disable 4G. If I run my iPhone 7 Plus on 3G only, there are 0 drops.

I have gone through the same steps and have a similar set up to you. I have replaced the iPhone 7+ (ATT) and the AirPods. No issues when connected to iPad, either.

I just bought a pair and they are cutting out all of the time. They are basically unusable. Did you ever get them working?

What a joke. I just bought some today and I'd rather use disposable headphones. Are they friggin' serious with this one?
