Why is my phone shutting down when using Snapchat?

Everytime I go to view a Snapchat, my phone will freeze and immediately restart. I have the newest software update and app update, deleted and re-installed the app. I have an iPhone 6. Someone help me?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. As I'm understanding it, every time you open Snapchat your phone will freeze and immediately restart and you have already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Let's go ahead and try the following steps (even if you have already tried some of them) in order from start to finish to see if that fixes it.

Hi

There was an issue with the previous version of Snapchat, which has since been addressed by the developer.

Update your iPhone with the latest version of Snapchat (9.45.2.0), which was released yesterday (20 December):

Open the App Store app > tap on the Updates tab > install the updated app.
