iphone 7 matte black white spots on back

I have an I phone 7 plus too I haven't used a cover still the paints chipping of why is dat? And also u guys are supposed to mention in the manual that put a cover at ur own risk cause our paint chips off

Mine is not flaking but sorry to hear yours is. Make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store or send it in to be evaluated.

i am also facing the same issue....within just 2-3 weeks, the back of phone was looking like ****.....really disappointed with quality of paint/coating. we are paying for no quality and to hear that it's not apple's look out. SAD!!!

Same thing with me. Used a cover for 2-3 days and back of the phone now has small white dots all over. Seems like paint has gone off.

Apple's quality is going down day by day and they are not listening to the complaints of customers anymore.

When i got iphone 7 plus, next day noticed some dust particles inside the camera lens.

They didn't even replace the product and opened it the very next day of purchase. Again, dust particles are visible after 2 months!

What kinda reply is this? Cosmetic damage. Whatever all comes upon their side making flagship devices this cheap . Else if they could have given some warnings like for jetblack so users can get under their own risk. Really disappointing reply from apple

I just tried. They said to check with apple service providers .At service centres they say it was my fault that i used a case. For a 60k phone silly reason like this doesnt make any sense.

We all are facing the same white spot problem on the back side of Iphone 7 matte black.

Poor quality of paint used in high-end flagship iPhone 7 Plus.

I also have that very same problem. For me, I think the case is the reason because only area on the back of my phone which isn't stained is the camera cut-out and the problem seems to be most severe on the edges of the same cut-out. I have a simple and cheap silicone case that I bought from the same store with my phone. That's kinda funny because I bought the case to protect the beautiful matte paint job on the back but it seems it has only ruined it. Perhaps the silicone somehow reacts with the paint, but that's something that Apple should have warned customers about upfront 😌.

I have an iPhone 7 plus, and I'm also facing the same issue. I don't think apple has the solution for this problem as of now, let's hope they will! Since we are unable to use cases as they are damaging the paint I would suggest to use skins which are available online. They come in a variety of textures and colours(let me know if anyone needs the name of the websites, they are highly precisioned and looks great moreover it covers the entire paint on the iPhone). This may not be the ideal solution but let's face it something is better than nothing!

Sadly, I am too facing the same black/white spots all over the back of my iPhone 7 Black Matte. It is so disappointing and frustrating to see that there is no resolution or support from Apple team. iphone 7 matte is just a failure. My phone looks ugly 😟. After spending a huge chunk of hard earned money on a inferior quality product is so frustating. Apple has to do something to help this bad paint or bad anodized job on the iphone.

The same thing is happening to me. I've aggended a call with apple support and they told me that the problem is happening only in brasil but they haven't heard a solution or any orders from apple to support the clients who has been affected with the problem. I will send another call this week, and i thing will get it to the court if they dont help me in any perspective. Anyone have heard any positive worlds from apple to solve the problem?

Kindly some body give the resolution to this issue.
