iphone 7 matte black white spots on back

I am having the same problem too! I've had my matte black iPhone 7 Plus for a little over a year now and I've had the Spigen case on it. The common factor in all the replies that I've read is that Spigen case. The case seems to interact negatively with the paint resulting in these spots. We should take this up with Spigen.

Is that something like this?

i am having the same problem ughhh its so annoying looking at it its very ugly... i am very disappointed in Apple. I'm in California btw i dont know if that makes a difference but i use a spigen clear case. I really hope Apple makes a solution to this soon... its very frustrating,

I am also having the same issue with my new iphone 7 matte black.I have been using my phone just for a month with a original hybrid slim speigen casing.I just opened my phone and found lots of white spots on it.I tried to rub it but it never goes away.Its very unexpected.I thought the problem might be with the casing.But now I see many of the users having the same issue.what wrong with apple???Its a great disappointment for new iphone.

i have tried cleaning it by applying toothpaste and rubbing in circular motion for couple of minutes and then cleaned it with wet cloth. it helped reducing the intensity of spots! the spots are still there but they have become lighter.
