How to prevent worn keys on new MacBook Pro 2016 Keyboard
Just received the MacBook pro 2016 with touchbar. My previous MacBook Pro had a problem with three keys wearing out prematurely, see pic. I know why, I have a peculiar stance with my hands which results in my fingernails scraping those three keys.
Any reason to believe the new model is more resistant to this?
Is it possible to replace individual keys?
I've encountered this with other computers, I've literally stuck labels on the worn keys from my Brother Labelmaker with a particularly tough, coated label paper. It's hillbilly but it works.
Could put a clear protective screen on those keys similar to the protective films like Zagg we put on phone screens but don't want to do that unless necessary since it'll change the look and feel.
