Stalling for detach from IntelAccelerator, nvAccelerator

Hi All

Recently my iMac and MacBook Pro have started to hang regularly for something like up to a minute before they continue to operate normally. Often I can still move the mouse pointer during the hang, but in any case I can't click on anything any more. The message in the Console is:

kernel: Stalling for detach from IntelAccelerator

kernel: Stalling for detach from nvAccelerator

So it seems this has something to do with the graphics. This has started after the latest updates, and after I had installed VirtualBox, but I have no idea whether or not this is related to the problem. Any help is much appreciated.

OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Seeing it on both mid 2014 mbp and late 2014 mac mini, both running 10.11.6.

Dom1112, of that list, the only thing we have in common it iterm, though I'm on iterm3. Are you also on 10.11.6?

I am using iTerm2 build 3.0.8 and tacos x 10.11.6 (15G1212), Darwin 15.6.0.

Same issue, same OSX, MBP mid-2015 15" non Retina. Reported with bug report!
