Seriously, I feel this has to be addressed by Apple. I see some counter comments here from some people. I really pity them. They write as if we hate Apple. Come on. I use almost all Apple devices at home. And never complained about them for years. And this is my first comment in Apple community. I made this comment because I really feel the AirPods require proper testing on health hazards.
You're making some very odd assumptions about people disagreeing with you. I don't care whether you like Apple, hate Apple or really prefer pears. What I do care about is people perpetuating bad science. I don't think anyone here necessarily hates science. I think they just lack a decent grounding in the fundamentals. It's unfortunate and probably not the fault of the people here. However, allowing bad sciences to stand unchallenged is part of the reason that many people don't understand it.
Yes, Airpods have been tested. No, they are not a health hazard. They are not emitting dangerous rays.
Could AirPods make your ears hurt? Sure. Ears are as individual as fingerprints. No headset is going to work for everyone. I can't use the EarPods that come packaged with iPhones as they make my ears hurt. Are they a health hazard? Only in the same sense that shoes that don't fit are bad for the person wearing them.
Could AirPodgive you headaches? Possibly but not for the reasons you think. Turing the volume up too loud can do it. Holding your head at a funny angle because you're afraid of having them fall out and get lost. And, for some people, the fact that the AirPod is making their ears hurt could give them a headache. But that doesn't mean AirPods are a health hazard. It means some people shouldn't use them.
If you're getting headaches of a kind you've never had before, go see the doctor. It's very often a sign of something serious.
