AirPods causing head pressure?

I got my AirPods a few weeks ago, right as they came out, and since the first time I put them on I've noticed that I start getting pressure headaches after a few minutes of use. I find this odd, as I've never had issues with the EarPods and I've used those ever since they came out. I also have another pair of Bluetooth headphones that I use with my Playstation, and I've never had an issue with those either. I've tried everything I can think of, including not putting them all the way in and just letting them kinda sit outside my ear canal.

The headaches aren't intense, but the slow building pressure is not exactly fun deal with. Has anyone else run into this issue? Better yet, has anyone else found a solution to this issue? I love these things, but they are getting hard to wear!

I have the same issue. Neve had this bad experience with Beats wireless. That's frustrating. I strongly believe it doesn't have nothing to do with the sound pressure. This is about radiations in my opinion. 😟

I hope that's not the reason as i want ti buy them but i'm still investigating about that matter. Let's hope they're safe to use and radiation is nothing to worry about. Have a great day!

You do understand that you're exposed to radiation all the time, right? Sunlight is "radiation". Microwaves are what is called non-ionizing radiation. They do not cause "radiation sickness".

Now, sunlight, that really can be dangerous.

I have been using iPhone since iPhone 5. And EarPods since then until I bought AirPods. I am not a product expert. Neither technology expert. I don't know if this is even happening because of Bluetooth radiation. Because I bought two pairs of AirPods last April for my own brother and a close colleague. They are still using it. Never heard any complaints from them. But unfortunately, the headache I get is in sync with AirPods usage. I don't get headache again until I put them back. I am not saying these are not tested. All I am worried is, it is causing issues for some people as we can see on web. I am one among many who keeps reading things around web and never speak up. But today I decided to speak because what I experienced is really true and I am afraid if these pair of AirPods will cause health issues for users which we really don't know.

Don't tell me the testings are done and I have to blindly believe that AirPods are not causing headache. This is the point I can't agree at all. I love to use new technology gadgets. Despite having this issue, I am still trying my best to use the AirPods.

What I wrote is not to argue. It is purely and truly what I experienced and want to share that.

I purchased these airpods the day they came out. I always thought everytime I get a headache take these things out of your ear and somethings going on with me. Always when I take them out of my ears I feel no more unbearable headaches. Today it got so bad that I had to leave from work this is what made me read up about this to see if I was the only one. Clearly i’m not. These airpods are very handy for my work however, the painful dreadful headaches are unbearable I will be looking to see an attorny about this issue. Just like they head away the secret about slowing those phones down from us, something has got to be up with these airpods that their not telling us. I WILL get to the bottum of this.

Thank you

The wired EarPods are not the same size as the AirPods, the latter do not stay in my ears very well, the AirPods do. Since there have been many, many blind studies showing people cannot discern BT or WiFi non-ionizing radiation and many more showing they do not cause biological damage. Was this happening back in December when you saw the ENT?

Editors write headlines and go with what they think will grab attention. Not all of the media sites, printed media I read did this as referring to "media" is like referring to "people". But the one exception they found is a puzzler and is currently being followed up. But you would have to get massive cell radiation levels far beyond what a cell phone can do. The hypothesis was proven, current levels are safe for use.

You just proved my point on how comments from some downplays experience of other human beings. When you say: "Anyone with common sense". What do you think that implies? Who defines common sense? Some people like me are noticing slight headaches and pressure which happens when they use their AirPods and asking if others are experiencing the same. I would call that common sense but that's my view.

Some have said: "Apple is not going to change the design of all of the AirPods because a few people have issues with them." so that's where am drawing my conclusion of some speaking for .

I do agree to see a doctor to try workout what is wrong but what i disagree is the downplaying of people's experience of using a product.

About lifestyle, I would say have patience. Time will reveal a lot connected with lifestyle choices that even science will confirm. However, all I've said is my personal opinion. People will hopefully choose to take what they want and leave what they don't agree with from my post as I do when reading others.
