El Capitan, "Double-click a window’s title bar to minimize” does not work. Double clicking only collapes windows into the dock. How can this be fixed?

It's already set to that. Now I realized I misunderstood. I thought it was the return of the old function that would collapse the window into the title bar. I miss that function. I used Windowshade up until now. Why Apple drops useful functions is beyond me.

Go in System Preferences -> Dock -> check the box "double-click a window's title bar to" and select what you want it to do (2 options).
