Hi, was just curious how to transfer ownership of Logic Pro X. I am selling my MacBook Pro and want to transfer Logic Pro X ownership along with it. That way in case they need to do a clean install, they can re-download it without having to pay.
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
Since I am not the Logic Police - You can do what you conscientious tells you.
But based on the licensing agreement.
1/ You don't own the software, only rights to use it.
2/ You cannot sell it.

I'd have to give them the login credentials to the account it is registered to then? Looks like I can wipe out my credit card info through iTunes and my personal info (well, they'll have this since I am shipping it to them). Nothing else on the account I care about.
Logic Pro X ownership cannot be transferred.
Again software ownership cannot be transferred. You have no rights to transfer.
Cool, I'll just give them the account credentials.
Logic is a special case... do not take anyone's word on this.
