2016 13" MBP Speaker "Pop"

I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) running macOS Sierra 10.12.2 (16C67).

I use it most of the day and intermittently there will be a "pop" or "crackle" sound from one of the speakers. It can happen while I am replying to a message in iMessage, writing an email in Mail or surfing the net. As noted its intermittent and basically impossible to replicate on demand. I've tried changing the sound settings in system preferences but nothing has worked to fix the issue.

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I have the exact same issue on mine (MBP 13 with Touch Bar). It is extremely rare which like you said makes it impossible to replicate on demand. Sometimes it happens on the left side and sometimes on the right. I sometimes use the computer for an hour or more and never hear it but it does keeps happening every once in a while. The noise almost sounds like a static shock. I have had no other issues with my computer and it is rare enough to where it doesn't really make that much sense to return it but I still kinda wish it would go away.
