itunes can not sync file because file can not be read but plays in itunes fine
I am trying to sync .mp3 audiobook files to my iPhone 6s. Both it and iTunes are updates to the latest version as of this writing. I constantly get error messages that a file could not be synced because the file could not be read, however, the files plays fine with iTunes, as well as other media playing software, on my PC. I previously did not have this problem years ago when I listened to these same audio files through my iPhone 3. I can sometimes get the files to sync 4-5 files at a time, and then I will get an error. Making the phone sync again will net me several more files before the error occurs again. I have even tried converting files to the AAC versions, to no avail.
This is very frustrating. I have tried about every solution I have seen, such as turning off the firewall on my PC (which seems like a ridiculous fix, why should I EVER turn the firewall off?) and none of these seem to work either.
These files are not corrupt, when they finally do (if ever) sync, the play fine from the phone.
This seems to be a problem that has been around for years, based on dates I am seeing on forums and web searches. Is there no REAL solution?
