Unable to activate Touch ID on iPhone

My Touch ID is not working on my Iphone 6s, I did everything suggested on the net how to resolve it but to no avail. I tried several forced power of and restart but still the prompt out message "unable to activate touch id on this phone" come out. My ios is updated to 10.2. Also noticed that my 100% battery is fast to drain than to my usual usage. I need an immediate reply from this problem as it make me unease on this regard. I searched for an answer but i read thousands of complaints but has no confirmed solution. Does Apple did some action to this? Are waiting to come up this problem to international television? Do a reliable answer as soon as possible.

I'm having the same issue too. I have an iPhone 6 and it keeps saying unable to activate Touch ID.

Any real solutions would be great. Did everything suggested and stillnoth

Same here, apple should provide new patch if ever user will disable the touch id manually, system will never look/detect the touch id hardware to avoid draining of battery. Just my 50 cent. Thanks!

Hello hegrab please i want to know if inmust replace all button to fix the nattery problem or it may be just problem in the button cable only

10.3.3 solves the problem!!😊😊 . Just wish Apple would be more honest about having IOS issues!!!!

Well, the update didn't solve mine. It didn't affect my battery though, just unable to activate my Touch ID. Still waiting for solution.

Well it solved mine so definitely not a hardware problem. Still a bit flakey but it's back. Just goes to show the lack of honesty from Apple!!!

Still says "Unable to activate Touch ID

Is it true that if you change your home button that Touch ID will not work anyway ???

That is absolutely true (unless the repair was done by Apple).

Issue resolved after complete erase of firmware and IOS and restore in apple store.
