macbook pro 2016

Good morning,

my product is: MacBook Pro 15 inch 2016, 2,9 Ghz i7, 16 Gb ram, HD 512ssd, Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB

my system is: MacOs Sierra vers. Beta di 10.12.3 (16D17a)

all operating systems released on apple store declare the minimum system requirements (not maximum)

I want to start this Mac from an external disk with previous operating system too.

this is impossible, because Apple does not provide drivers for this mac with previous operating systems

so apple falsely states on its website regarding the compatibility of its operating systems

I consider this a serious problem also because not stated publicly, rather it says the exact opposite

Thanks for your help

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016), iOS 10.2, sn. C02SR334GTDY

the operating system is installed (and updated) as a developer support in the public beta release of apple so it is absolutely compliant (and apple store forniusce not I right to update it). The ALL system requirements Apple operating systems claim to be what year are installable and state "and later". And 'then a false statement? I know that operating systems prior to causing the loss of some features but not that they are not bootable. Show me the page where it is stated that limit please.

Sorry for my bad english but in every page there is clearly specified "or newer"

This macbook pro is newer!!!!! if there was a hardware limit they should write "up to model later 2016" is not it ???

Interpret what it says as you like. I will be waiting for your post when you can not install Sierra on a 2030 MacBook Pro. I interpret "or newer" to include all computers up to those with the next released OS installed.

But I won't argue with you over interpretation of what Apple means. If you want to contact Apple please use the Contact Apple link located at the bottom of this page.
