Why is my iTunes Library empty?

Stupid enough, I bought a new MacBook Pro recently. Logged in iCloud (couple of times, because OSX just keeps asking, it obviously can't remember for the first time), my iTunes library is empty. I use the same iCloud/Apple Music id on another MacBook Pro and on my iPhone so why the **** it just can't be synchronised??? Or is just another thing which does not work on OSX?

Under Preferences, in the General tab, there's a checkbox for "iCloud Music Library". I can't imagine why, but it's off by default. Check the box to start syncing.

You haven't provided too many details on your setup, so all I can do is shoot back a few ideas in return.

Is your iTunes library wired, or using the Cloud? If you accidentally chose the Cloud during setup, that could explain the missing iTunes library.

Did you back up your tunes? If you have the backup, you can transfer the music in minutes.
