Same here!!!! Frustrating. Any fix?
Any resolution to this? I have a Tune2Air in my 2008 Audi and can’t hear my music thru the car AMI as it should.
Same issue here - headphones icon on status bar but no headphones plugged in, so now the phone won't play any sounds anymore. Reboot doesn't fix it. Stupid Apple "engineers".
OK, that's fine, but now my bluetooth speaker won't play and it seems to me the iPad thinks it's got a headphone plugged in but it doesn't. Worked fine before most recent iOS update. Any clues I can troubleshoot??
thx
When wireless headphones are connected, iOS 10.2 will show a headphone icon and battery level in the status bar.
Any sound-capable device, actually. My in-ear Plantronics handsfree causes the headphone icon to pop up now in 10.2.
why is there a headphone icon on the top bar of my home screen?
