How do I delete game data now that Game Center is gone?
Seriously, I am beyond annoyed right now. It seems that every time "Apple" makes a "Decision" to do something, they don't f**king think it through before doing it.
Game center is gone in ios-10, and by some luck of pure ignorance, I happened to start a game and tap an option while reading (finger was close to the screen) and it set me on a course for that game that I am playing that I don't want to go on. So I decided to do what I'd do when I had that nice android phone (unfortunately they were out of new androids at T-Mobile or I wouldn't even be here asking this question) {side now: unfortunately I have t-mobile lol} and delete the game, re-install and start over.
Deleting the game is simple enough, of course.... but when I re-install the game, it immediately pops up with the game center notification saying "welcome back to the game." I want to get rid of the freaking game data altogether! How do you do this?
I checked in the game center under settings but of course there is nothing there. I double checked iCloud to ensure that the data wasn't backed up in the "cloud" and nothing was there. I just want to crash out this data so I can re-install fresh. Anyone know how to do this?
*****EDIT***** Also wanted to note I have tried Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage > (found game... nothing to click in the Documents & Data section.. only the option to delete app, which I have done MANY times to no avail.)
