Apple Watch 2 Nike Run - not showing map

Went for a park run yesterday and there is no map of where I went?

Usually when syncing watch with phone it shows the map again.

I don't run with my phone as the GPS feature

Hi

The following steps may help:

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Location Services:

  • Check that Location Services (the main setting at the top) is turned on.
  • In the list of apps beneath, check that Apple Watch Workout and Nike+ Run Club are each set to While Using.
  • If each setting is already enabled:
    • Try briefly turning off Location Services and then turning it back on again.
    • Try briefly changing the setting for Apple Watch Workout and the Nike app to Never and then back to While Using.

This happened to me recently after an app update. Aparently the Watch settings got changed during the update. For me the "indoor" option was selected so I was getting no map data. Check that this is switched off and you watch says "outdoors" in the top left corner. These settings are below the start screen in the watch app. Scroll down with the crown.
