car cigarette lighter USB adapter for iPhone 5s

Hello guys,

I would like to buy a car cigarette lighter USB adapter for my iPhone 5s, but I have read on the web that I have to be careful because it may damage the battery of the Iphone. So,my question is what spec should I be looking at as far as mA and volts to charge my iPhone 5S safely and efficiently? This is what is written on my apple USB power adapter http://images.apple.com/power-adapters/images/5w_adapter.jpg

thanks in advance
