Hi Gretchen,

Do you mean "Simple Finder"?

These instructions regarding Simple Finder (from the Help files on my Mac) may apply:

Change preferences for a user’s Simple Finder

In the Simple Finder, choose Finder > Run Full Finder, then enter your administrator name and password. In the full Finder you can make the changes you want in Parental Controls preferences. When you’re done, choose Finder > Return to Simple Finder.

Regards,

Barry

Finder is part of the OS X System software on your Mac. I've requested this question be moved form Numbers for Mac to the OS X community for Snow Leopard (v10.6).

Hi Eric,

The linked instructions in your post seem specific to removing SafeFinder from computers running versions of Windows. Have you located any reliable sites with similar instructions applicable to computers running Mac OS X v10.6?

"Applicable" in this case including "not needing to be translated from Windows specific vocabulary, file locations and file-naming conventions to their equivalents in OS X."

Barry
