Any link on Apple support produces a 403 Forbidden page

Any link on any Apple Support page, like GET SUPPORT, that I try to go to, including links that are in Apple emails, produce a 403 FORBIDDEN error page.

How can I get around this? Simply cannot get any Apple support except by phone, which is extremely time consuming.

Any assistance in this would be much appreciated?

I have faced the same issue on my VPN Server, as I retied to login with my iphone/ipad/PC while on VPN and it gave me the same Forbidden message, while on my home IP all works just fine.
[in my case at least] it seems it goes back to IP address and probably the region that IP is registered.
[which is very stupid policy on apple side! because people might use VPNs from any where in the world and locking them out just based on IP is pure silly!]

Anyhow for some reasons Appleid Forbids my server IP address and there seem to be no option for the user to rectify this?? (please let me know if there is!)
I hope this is a temporary lock other wise apple should give users a way to authenticate and authorise their IPs.

First review the basics: If Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing - Apple Support.

If that doesn't help, use the following procedure to determine if the problem is isolated to your Mac, or lies elsewhere.

  1. Shut down your Mac.
  2. Load macOS Recovery by holding and r (two fingers) while you start your Mac with a third finger.
  3. At the macOS Utilities screen, release those two fingers.
  4. Choose Get Help Online.
  5. Safari will launch, but it will lack your bookmarks, favorites, history and other preferences.

Determine if you can open those websites while in that mode.

If the problem does not occur in Recovery mode, but returns after restarting your Mac normally, please read If Safari is slow, stops responding, quits unexpectedly, or has other issues - Apple Support. The applicable section is likely to be "Remove Internet plug-ins and other add-ons" and the Support documents that follow "Learn more".

If you remain unable to resolve the problem, please write back.

Thank you very much. Yes, I can access the pages in recovery mode.

When I returned to this user and tried to access the Get Support link on iPhone - Official Apple Support I first got an unable to find the getsupport.apple.com server. When I tried it again I got the Forbidden page again. Safari isn't slow, or non-resonsive, and doesn't seem to have any problem accessing other pages including secure servers. Only pages linked from Apple support, I guess basically the getsupport.apple.com server pages, seem to be affected.

I only have one extension 1Password, which I disabled, without any change.

The 403 code will appear for a site that recognizes authentication, but refuses to grant access for reasons known only to it. Make certain that you are not using any potentially conflicting Safari Extensions, Internet plug-ins and other add-ons (all addressed in the Support document), and also confirm that you have no active proxy configurations (Network Preferences > Advanced > Proxies).

If none of that resolves the problem the next logical step is to launch Keychain Access and filter for appleid. Delete anything conforming to the Apple ID you are using when you attempt to connect to those sites. You will need to provide your Apple ID credentials again, but you only have to do that once.

In the end there may be nothing wrong with your Mac. Since leroydouglas experienced a similar problem Apple may just be overwhelmed at the moment, and perhaps the reason is related to today's Sierra update. I haven't had any trouble trying to connect to any support site on any of my Macs, but one data point means nothing.
