Ford Sync 3 Disconnecting from iPhone

I have a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT and an iPhone 6 running iOS 10.2. The bluetooth connectivity with the phone disconnects and re-connects constantly. Same thing occurs on my 6s Plus & my wife's iPhone 7, all running 10.2. I took it to Ford twice and they have done a hard reset to Sync 3 system and nothing has worked. I have deleted and re-paired the phones many times. Is there anything that I can do to resolve this issue?

Hi kmmbstreet!

I see that you're having issues with Bluetooth connectivity between your iPhone and your car stereo, and I'm happy to help. You can update your iPhone to the latest iOS version 10.2.1, and you can try any of the steps in this article that you haven't yet tried:

I have a 2016 Ford Expedition and an iPhone 7. I have had little trouble until I updated to 10.2.1. Now my phone is almost unusable in the car. It will play audio for about 20 mins, then begins stuttering, and eventually disconnects. All reconnection attempts fail, until you shut off and re-start the car. Of course that means if you are in traffic or a long drive , forget it.

Sync 3 / iPhone 7 users, beware before updating to 10.2.1.
