xcode8 is slow on my 2016 Macbook pro

I've been using xcode since the version 5 and now i realized that xcode 8 is not fast enough on my new Macbook Pro 15" with touchbar. When i scroll up or down in the source code file, it is not as smooth as my previous mac(2014 mid). I can clearly observe frme drops while dragging. Am i the only one having this issue?

A Safe Mode boot deletes system caches that might make a difference.

To start up in safe mode:

  1. Start or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key. The white Apple logo appears on your display. If you don't see the Apple logo, learn what to do.
  2. Release the shift key when you see the login window. If your startup disk is encrypted with FileVault, you might be asked to log in twice: once to unlock the startup disk, and again to log in to the Finder.

To leave safe mode, restart your Mac without pressing any keys during startup.

Then try Xcode.

How many other memory intensive applications to you have open while using Xcode 8. Also, did you happen to set up your 2016 MacBook Pro computer as new or did you use a backup disk to restore the files and settings from your previous Mac onto the new one? I just got the same MacBook Pro, 13'', and Xcode 8 is working unbelievably better and faster than on my previous MacBook Pro.
