I delete som GB and empty trash on OS X Sierra, but it seems it's not freeing space, at least in finder windows it continue with the same about of free space.
Does any one have this problem and could fix it?

Why is every response to this question from morons??? The issue the poster and I are having is after clearing up many gigs of data (100+ gigs in my case); yes we found the folders, deleted them and successfully emptied the trash, our available free space does not change. This is not user error. The only user error is you idiots assuming this poster doesn't know how to permanently delete files. If someone qualified has experienced this issue before and is aware of a solution please respond, otherwise, please keep your moronic replies to yourself!!!

After you trashed, restart the mac, then empty the Trash bin.
Do not use Disk First Aid and Trim....
Hey man! I'm also having the same problem here. It really ***** bigtime!! Did you find a solution for this?
Run Disk Utility app. It will re-calculate available space and show the correct numbers on your Finder immediately
Look in the Finder for the data (after emptying the Trash), these are correct.
