battery swelling

I am using iphone 5s, its performence is good, but recently i encountered that my back panel is cracking out due to battery swelling. I can feel the swelling when i slide my fingers on the back panel, panel has developed cracks rigth through the apple logo from top to bottom. As this is battery fault do i get any replacemet from apple service center or should i pay for the new battery ?

I dint expect even apple products would have such problems, I am very perticular about using my charger, i use only apple charger that is given with the phone at the time of purchasel. How can i solve this issue ?

iPhone 5s, iOS 10.2.1, gold

Hi

Apple advises that you should not continue using a damaged iPhone. Given the issues that you have described, I suggest that you turn your iPhone off and do not charge or use it again until after it has been serviced.

Contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider to arrange for your iPhone to be inspected and to establish your available service options, timescale and any cost (whether under warranty, if eligible, or via chargeable repair service):
