Audio, from video played on CNNMoney and YouTube (possibly others), continues to play when I open another site. No other safari pages are open, just the new one I go to. Why does the audio continue to play? What am I missing?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
This is an annoyance.
Try clicking the Stop button at the bottom of the video player window before closing the page
or when on a new page, click the curved arrow Refresh/Reload button at the end of search bar.
Thanks dominic23, that works but when you close a url I don't understand why the audio doesn't close as well. An option to allow audio to stay on or not would be helpful. I know, preaching to the choir.
