I signed up for the 50GB iCloud storage option for £0.79/month a couple of months ago, and have been billed for that with no issue.
However, I have just received a £7.49 'annual' bill for 20GB of iCloud storage, and I am unsure as to why I've been charged this.

There are quite a few people still with 20 GB annual plans for that price, my brother-in-law has one. However, my understanding is that they are only for those that took them out previously and it's not something that is offered for new accounts.
Have you checked that the email is genuine.
How did you receive the bill? There isn't a 20 GB option. Was any money charged to your account? If not, the e-mail may be a scam.
