Apple pay is using the wrong credit card

Apple Pay is using a credit card that isn't even configured in the Wallet app. I used to have the card (lets call it card A) configured, but then I got another card (card B), added it into Wallet and deleted card A. But when I charge something, card A is still being charged (I can see the charges on my statement). In Wallet, the charges against card A actually show up under card B in the app. Apple Pay is clearly confused about the cards.

How do I fix it?

iPhone 6, iOS 10.2

Hi

It may help to follow these steps:

  • Go to: Settings > iCloud - at the bottom of the screen, Sign out.
  • Go to: Settings > Touch ID & Passcode - Turn Passcode off.
  • Restart your iPhone.
  • Sign back in to iCloud, turn Passcode back on and add card B again.

When adding the card, follow the steps here:

I have two cards registered, Amex and Visa.

Everywhere I can specify it, Amex is set as the default or preferred card, except for the Apple Watch in Settings/Device Info where Apple Pay is set to use the Visa card. The only option here is to remove card.

Any advice will be appreciated. It's not the end of the world but it seems you be a bug, something which most developers don't like...
