Air drop receiving off

to turn on airdrop swipe up from the bottom of the screen tap on airdrop, select contacts only or everyone. bluetooth will be turned on when selecting everyone or contacts only.

AirDrop receiving is off for me. When I tap on the airdrop button, nothing happens. Both wi-fi and Bluetooth are on. Any other suggestions?
