Gopro Studio Export Problems

Hi. I am having difficulties uploading my videos in the source quality. 2.7k, 60fps. I am new to editing, I use GoPro Studio, although, FCPX is on the cards very soon for my Hero 5 black. Everything ends up with 1080p, although, I see, it is possible to have excellent quality videos. I live in the UK where Youtube Red is not available. I would appreciate any advice. I do not know what encoding means or transcoding, again, any advice is highly appreciated.

yOu are exporting from GoPro Studio? You are not yet using FCPX.

Your question should be posted to the GoPro user forum at GoPro's site.

When you start using FCPX, you might wish to use GoPro's software to transcode your source video before you import it into FCPX.

Ecoding and transcoding are terms and technologies you MUST learn about if you are going to use professional video applications. There are many more and many more complex terms that support the technologies, concepts, and the workflow that allows FCPX to function. If you do not wish to learn those things, you can stick with iMovie or just use GoPro sStudio for the basic operations they provide. There are literally hundreds of helpful tutorials available on youtube and vimeo that can help you grasp these terms. It's not easy.
