Snapchat download issue

It's been a week and snapchat is still not downloading since the latest patch I tried downloading the latest patch it was stuck so i deleted snapchat and now snapchat will still not download

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It seems like you want to download an app but it is still not downloading. You have not mentioned what is happening when you try to download it. One thing you can do is download the app to the computer using iTunes and sync it to the iPhone. I would recommend you read these articles, they explain how to do it.

Hello HEK_98,

It sounds like you were able to download the app, but in the App Store, it doesn't say open. Are you able to open the app from the Home screen? There are a couple things you should look at to see if there are any settings causing this. I would recommend you read these articles and use them to help troubleshoot the issue.

Do you have cellular data enabled or disabled?

Since the app was able to update, you can try rebooting the iPhone to see if it changes.

Hey HEK_98,

Thanks for keeping us updated on your progress. In the original post, the update you were referring to seems like it was for the app itself. One thing you can do is to check for any available iOS updates. If the iPhone does not have any available storage it will not download any updates, you can check if there is storage available. Since the download worked randomly and since cellular data won't stay on when you turned it on, you could also try resetting the network settings.

Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
If you can't connect to a cellular network or cellular data

Hey man the download worked randonmly in the afternoon but now when i access the app store snapchat has a circle and square and sits there stuck on download I still don't know how to fix it i tried everything

Hey I rebooted my iphone 6 snapchat is still stuck

I can open the app without any issues but i'm afraid i won't be able to download updates for this app my cellular is off even though i put it on it's still like this

Hey my software update is up to date I have a lot of storage in my iphone my cellular data works fine but even if it's on when I access the app store it shows a circle and a square inside like in the picture I sent however snapchat is working fine. I'm afraid the next update for snapchat won't download if it's still stuck.

Hey Becky yesterday there was several updates to download and snapchat was one of them and it was still stuck with a circle and square inside however I clicked on the button "update all" and snapchat was downloading and well after the download finished everything went back to normal
